Broers (born in 1968) studied art history and business administration. Over the years she has developed into a cultural entrepreneur and a strategic administrator with an inspiring vision of both institutions.

The boards of both institutions are in no doubt that Cathelijne Broers is the right person to succeed the current director: ‘We are acquiring a director with considerable experience and expertise, with whom we can face the challenges of the future with confidence.’
