SAN FRANCISCO, CA.- artMRKT San Francisco will be a premiere International Art Fair devoted to the presentation of important artwork from the 20th and 21st centuries with a focus on San Francisco galleries and artists.

The show will be held in the Concourse Exhibition Center in downtown San Francisco, a 57,000 Square Foot repurposed train station that provides a centrally located stage for our event. For venue information and a floor plan please visit www.art-mrkt.com.
artMRKT San Francisco is a hard walled show, but we welcome exhibitors to propose large scale installations and other projects that can go beyond the limitation of a single booth.

Establishment of a local Host Committee
For an event like this to grow and prosper, it is essential that local collectors, press and arts institutions are involved, in developing artMRKT San Francisco. With their support, ideas and enthusiasm artMRKT can turn into more than a regional fair. To this end organizers will be working closely with their participating dealers to identify and pursue key individuals to take part in an active host committee. A program of events for the Hosts leading up to the Fair is being developed to spark interest, build excitement and create a sense of ownership. The organizers believe this will help give artMRKT San Francisco the legs it needs to become a lasting institution.

A Commitment to Content
“We are interested in producing an event with the highest caliber of dealer and the most intelligent, sophisticated programming surrounding it. Our vision for artMRKT San Francisco begins and ends with that commitment,” said Director Max Fishko.

Collaborative Advertising
A creative, professional and high impact advertising campaign for the show is already in development. In the very near future, materials for this campaign will be available online for the participating constituency to review and make comments. Organizers are encouraging as many dealers as possible to get their artists involved in the development of these materials. Director Max Fishko sais, “It would be our pleasure and goal to publicly showcase featured artists through the artMRKT San Francisco advertising and marketing campaign. We will also feature all ads run with placement dates in an online portfolio to increase our accountability to the dealers and augment planning for future years.”
