International Center of Photography Director to transition to new executive role

NEW YORK, N.Y.- The International Center of Photography (ICP) announced today that Willis E. Hartshorn, its Ehrenkranz Director, has informed ICP’s Board of Trustees of his desire, for health reasons, to transition to a different full-time executive role in the institution. Consequently, ICP’s Board has formed a Search Committee which has retained Russell Reynolds Associates to conduct an international search for a new Director to lead the institution. International Center of Photography Acquires Roman Vishniac Archive

NEW YORK, NY.- The International Center of Photography today announced the acquisition of the entire archive of work by renowned photographer Roman Vishniac. The Vishniac archive provides a comprehensive record of his photographs, including prints of many celebrated images of Eastern and Central European Jewish life before the Holocaust, thousands of others never-before-seen, as well as his noted microphotographic imagery.
