Exceptional Collection of Artwork by Swiss Artist Albert Anker to Sell at Hôtel des Ventes

GENEVA.-The estate of Albert Anker’s family will finally go under the hammer at the Geneva-based auctioneers on 9th March without reserve prices. This ensemble of over 55 never-before-seen drawings, sketches and watercolours by Albert Anker was recently discovered in a safe in Geneva. The collection will be sold alongside furniture and personal items and has been valued at 200’000 to 300’000 Swiss francs.
